Super Secret Salsa Recipe
Easy and Delicious Salsa Recipe
Here is my family's all-time favorite salsa recipe. I tried many many other ingredients but this was one from my friend Teresa den Hoed and we love it. It makes a large batch. Living in a small town you can usually find extra tomatoes if you need them. I just put the word out and friends are more than willing to give them to me rather than let them go to waste. My Mom and I make a few days of it and this past fall we did 52 quarts full! Since we have such a busy family, this is a staple the kids grab when they get home from a busy day at school, or after a ballgame.
Mix all the ingredients together and put them into jars and bake them in the oven for 2 hours at 225 degrees. Turn off the oven and cool overnight. A single batch makes 6 quarts.
I find the Paprika app is the most versatile app out there for me to stay organized, it’s also my place where I store my grocery list for the week. You can also meal plan in the app too
